“I started writing novels and poems that I never shared; I kept everything to myself. Writing, however, has always been important for me to distance myself from what I was experiencing, from a world I didn’t enjoy living in. So, I somewhat created this ideal world where I could proudly stay and remain. When I write, I typically converse with myself, reflecting on what I’m experiencing. This piece is very instinctive, and love is never predictable—even if you sense you’re getting hurt, you’ll never know how.”
